Community tourism

Community tourism, renowned for its profound link between people and nature, coupled with traditional cultural values and a spirit of sharing, stands as a cornerstone of HaiAu Educursions. On every excursion, students transcend the role of mere tourists, becoming integral members of the community and playing a vital role in safeguarding and enhancing distinctive cultural heritage.

OUR PROJECTS

TAM THANH MURAL VILLAGE

For many years, Tam Thanh has been celebrated as an idyllic locale, where the sea meets the river. This commune, situated within Tam Ky City in Quang Nam Province, experienced a surge in popularity when the fishing village was adorned with vibrant murals. These lively and colorful wall paintings, the work of skilled Vietnamese and Korean artists, each tell a unique story, collectively transforming the village into a distinctive, innovative, and dynamic artistic haven, all while preserving its traditional charm.

- 2017

Acknowledging the inherent potential of Tam Thanh Mural Village and fueled by a passion to promote local cultural heritage, HAEC promptly introduced a community-based tourism framework to the region. HAEC collaborated closely, providing guidance on the creation of tourism offerings for Tam Thanh commune, aimed at enhancing the quality of life and generating sustainable income for the local population through tourism initiatives.

This model continues to broaden its reach and is experiencing increasingly positive growth by locals.

OUR PROJECTS

FLOWERS WHERE ITS BLOSOMS - DA LAT

HaiAu Educursions formally incorporated the Project Based Learning (PBL) approach into its educational travel model in 2018. HAEC has been instrumental in assisting schools and students in designing and implementing community-driven projects that address the specific requirements of various regions, with a particular focus on fostering educational opportunities for children in remote mountainous areas, guided by the principle of ‘education for the sake of education, education for the betterment of humanity.

- 2018

In the expansive Lam Vien highlands, HaiAu Educursions partnered with students from the Vietnam Australia International School to deliver a suite of community initiatives, aptly named “Flowers of the Highlands,” with the goal of collectively fostering aspirations and revitalizing the educational landscape for children at Dung K’No Primary School.

As part of this community endeavor, the group also undertook the “bringing electricity and clean water to the village” initiative, significantly enhancing the living conditions of the K’Ho ethnic community in K’Tong village, Dung K’No commune, Lac Duong district, Lam Dong province.

Community engagement is the most sustainable way to drive positive social change.
