Business Development Executive – Chinese-Speaking Tourism Market

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Participate in the development of business growth strategies, conducting research and market surveys within Vietnam and particularly in Chinese-speaking countries.

• Develop and implement business plans in alignment with the Board of Directors, and regularly report progress to direct management.

• Identify and engage in bilateral discussions with partners in Chinese-speaking markets.
  • Develop tourism products that meet the company’s standards and align with the needs of Vietnamese travelers.
  • Design tourism products within Vietnam tailored to the preferences of Chinese-speaking tourists.

• Establish a multi-channel sales system for both domestic and international markets.

• Develop customer care policies and actively maintain and expand relationships with partners and clients both locally and internationally.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; actively participate in tourism promotion fairs and reputable tourism associations in the Chinese-speaking market.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

a) Eligibility

• Vietnamese citizens (male or female).

• Age: From 20 to 35 years old.

b) Specialization:

• Graduated from a college or university in fields related to tourism, economics, marketing, international trade, foreign languages, etc.
  (Applicants from other fields may also be considered if they have relevant work experience in the tourism industry.)

• Required language: Proficiency in Chinese (minimum HSK Level 4), especially strong listening and speaking skills.

• Second foreign language (such as English, French, Japanese, Korean, etc.) is an advantage.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position, or recent graduates with practical experience using Chinese in tourism-related work.

• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and articulation skills – able to deliver content clearly and persuasively.

• Logical thinking, good time and task management skills.

• Proficient in basic office computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office tools).

• Willing to perform other tasks as assigned by management.

• Special note: A genuine interest in sustainable tourism development (e.g., green tourism, clean energy, natural and cultural heritage conservation, cultural industries, social responsibility, etc.) is highly valued.

c) Attitude:

• Proactive and adaptable at work, with a quick and agile working style; able to handle pressure effectively.

• Disciplined, highly responsible, willing to take initiative, make decisions, and be accountable for them.

• Motivated to grow, open to learning, and committed to continuous self-improvement.

• Willing to support colleagues in shared tasks within one’s capability.

COMPENSATIONS AND BENEFITS

– Salary and benefits:

Base Salary: 10,000,000 VND – 15,000,000 VND, depending on qualifications and experience.
Bonuses: Based on work performance and business results.
