In March 2025, Hai Au Can Tho official partnered with the Lua Mua Tu Viet Farm, located in Minh Luong, Chau Thanh District, Kien Giang Province — a place founded by Mr. Le Quoc Viet, an agricultural engineer who not only works in local agricultural management but also researches traditional Southern rice cultivation methods linked to clean rice production. Driven by that dedication, he has built and developed the Lua Mua Tu Viet.
The story behind this partnership began with a field trip organized by the Climate Change Research Institute – Can Tho University, which brought high school students to visit and experience life at the farm. Hai Au Can Tho was invited to join the program as a guest. During the visit, we had the opportunity to meet Mr. Le Quoc Viet. Through brief conversations, Mr. Tu Viet extended an invitation for Hai Au Can Tho to contribute ideas for developing tourism products and services. That meaningful connection has since grown into a deeper partnership, with Hai Au Can Tho actively supporting the development of Lua Mua Tu Viet Farm in several key areas: product development consulting, service design, staff training, and business strategy planning.
We hope that this partnership will contribute to the development of the Lua Mua Tu Viet Farm in particular, and help bring the culture of seasonal rice farming in the Mekong Delta closer to both domestic and international visitors.
